EDIT: Since finishing this project, I've gone back and done a new post processing pass as well as updating a couple of settings. The aim was to improve the contrast and depth, especially via the shadows, as it was previously looking a little washed out. The new screenshots will be updated onto this post, and a before and after image for reference will be added. The sequencer and gifs are not updated, so this still shows the old post processing pass. Hope you like it!

A Fable Shop produced from the original Brightlodge Mystery Box concept art by Sarah Morris.
The project was proposed as an art test by my final year (semester 1) university module. It outlined that there should be use of trimsheets, tiling materials, and be no more than 100k Tris (this project is 98k tris). Be textured to a PBR standard, with textures not exceeding 2048x2048 in total resolution.
All of the above criteria along with anymore not outlined above has been met, working within the restrictions presented.
I love the Fable art style so I really enjoyed diving into this project, learning more about how Fable produce their unique aesthetic, developing my skills in stylised artwork and ultimately delivering a polished product within a set time frame. This was a 12 week project, but it was worked on for approximately 16-20 hours per week, resulting in a rough estimate of 192 - 240 hours spent on the project over the time period given.
Having reflected upon the work via a written evaluation, I'm aware of areas for improvement, and particularly towards the end I was finding more and more minor tweaks I kept wanting to make. Whether there was a deadline or not, I feel I've reached a point where the project was ready to be called finished, as there comes a point where minor tweaks are being made for the sake of it. A lot of input, with not much output.
As I say, I've really enjoyed working in the Fable art style, and it holds a lot of similarities with other art styles I work within. I'm looking forward to my next projects coming up, and will hopefully be of a quality to share here on ArtStation.
Thanks to everyone who has showed love and support towards the project and I hope you enjoy it!
